Macromedia bonanza!

    In addition to being My church's A/V director, Director of Men's fellowship, 3rd and 4th grade sunday school teacher, and Bass player, I am also the Webmaster.

    I just found out that the church is buying the full package of Macromedia Studio MX, which includes Dreamweaver MX, Flash MX, Fireworks MX, FreeHand MX, ColdFusion MX Developer Edition, Flash Player 6, Macromedia Contribute, and DevNet Resource Kit Special Edition.

    All this is being purchased with the hope that I can take us beyond our primative, template driven website and move on to somnething that will grow with us.

    Can any of you lead me to some resources that will help me learn how to use these programs? I know I will start with Dreamweaver and work my way in the others, including flash, but what great books or web sites are there out there to help me?

    Learn HTML, JavaScript and PHP. Problem solved :D I personally think it's better to type out all your code then waste time learning a program and doing it that way ~ Tyler:oops:

    I did flash mx at school, there are tutorials on the program that will you help you with learning the basics then its just practise.
    Its a good program but we didnt learn it all becuase of time issues.
    Big hint learn how to use tweening!
