Madison Hydra

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Biker4Him, Apr 9, 2003.

  1. Has anyone actually played through one of these things? I hear street price is around $900.00? Is it that "cheap" for a reason?

ive never played one of those things, but ive heard the madison drivers are good.

the price seems ok, most 8x10's are around that price range.
  3. al caldwell uses 2 of them in his live rig so it has to be good! im saving up right now for one. its actually around 1000 new plus shipping from prosoundgear.com
the list price is like a couple hundred more than that and the reason that their cheap is because they stopped making them a few years ago and madison is working on developing a new version of it(probablly just with tolex instead of carpet and then the new gigantic madison logo)

He may well have....The original post was from almost five years ago. It was dredged up from the dead.
