I picked up an old, beat up 15 cab at a garage sale this weekend and pulled out the 15. It looks like a brand new driver, but I can't find any info on it. The magnet is painted black with " Madison" on top and " Knight " on the bottom, 8 ohm. Anybody know anything about these speakers?

  2. My Son has them in his DJ speakers and pounds them all night long at his DJ Gigs so I know that they take the abuse well and they dont sound to bad.

If you're not sure they're bass-guitar speakers, they'll be damaged by overexcursion if you used them for bass.

From what little info I can find, they were used in PA cabs and Bass cabs.

I'm sure they still have the specs on the Madison Knight drivers.

Found an old thread where BFM said they should be used in a sealed cab, and that the specs are somewhat exaggerated.
