Madison MAB4103 vs MAB412

  1. I foumd a site that has both of these and here's my question, what would you get (im low on cash to get good brands like SWR)

    Madison MAB4103- $227
    Madison MAB412- $275

    I have the 410 but haven't tried the 412. In my conversations with Andy he says the 412 has so much bottom you won't need a 15 or 18 under it. If you look at the new charts he just posted, the 412 only loses about 3db between 40Hz and 30Hz, while the 410 loses about 10db over that range.



    The 410 is super clear and transparent. It falls into the current trend of full-range transparent 10's that have less mids but more lows. I would expect both more mids and lows from the 412.

    I have two MAB4103 and they are just fine.I couldn't comment on the Madison 412 because I have not played thru them.but one 4103 has good pronounced midrange definition and a nice roundness to it's warmth,and just the right amount of transparency so Im sure you can imagine what two 4103's might sound like.I myself can't complain.
