We'll be at the Firehouse Bar & Grill in Mt. Horeb this Friday Dec. 9th. 9pm - 1 am. We'll be featuring a dynamite sax player, John Bertsch. Should be a lot of classic rock and roll fun.

I'm afraid I won't make it over from La Crosse (we have our company holiday this weekend). Mt. Horeb is a cool little town...if you like trolls. Anyway, I did happen to peruse your website and saw your drummer's story about playing with Chuck Berry. Cool story....

He claims the "Hail Hail" movie is right on as far as Chuck goes. Don't know if you got the snow, but we got 3" overnight. 3 of my guys are coming from Eau Claire for the gig tonight, and one from Marshfield.

I wish we could, I think we'd probably play a couple more gigs since Milwaukee is so cover band crazy.

But I'm the only Madison local. The other guys come from Eau Claire and Marshfield. Generally our gigs are evenly split between down here and up there. It's only fair to everyone that way.

We got an inch or two yesterday afternoon, but that's okay because my wife got it all shoveled....

Good luck on the gig. Unfortunately one of our guitar players lives in Nashville, so we only to get to gig once or twice a year....but it sure is a blast when we do get together. We have a standing invitation to play opening weekend at the Oktoberfest here in La Crosse, so at least we get in a quality gig. It sure is intense putting two sets of music together in one night of practice though (especially when you haven't played together for a year). Go Pack!

Yea, I thought our drummer did a real nice job recounting his experience playing with Chuck Berry.
