  4. Many years ago, I was in a band that played "Birds of Fire". It sure would have been much easier to learn with the music. O well.

  6. "Watermelon in Easter Hay" is one of those songs that if I had written it, I could die a happy man.
    Any Zappa or Tull show was guaranteed to be worth the money.

    The one chance I had to see the Captain, I had a temp. of 103. I wasn't quite sure I wanted to die at a Captain Beefheart show. Although I guess there could be more insane ways to go... but not many.

    i saw tull in 1973 or so.

    thick as a brick tour...

    the friggin' Eagles opened....YUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    great tull show.

    my older bro had seen the this was and stand up tours.

    YOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i saw frank in 1972, 1976, and 1980.

    interviewed him in 1987.

    saw beefheart in 1974.

    and they say the 70's sucked.

    Now if only there was Cosmic Strut. There's a section in 7/8 and 5/4 if I'm not wrong. Its been tough to nail down.
