Hi, If you are looking at this post you probably are familiar with these basses and know what to expect. If not you may want to consider reading up on them. This Peavey Foundation has a mahogany body and a maple neck. First generation, equipped with super ferrite pickups. It is very light - just under 8.3 pounds on my digital scale. It is currently strung whit TI jazz rounds. It plays well, sounds great - like a good jazz but with more growl and oomph. It has some player wear, but nothing unusual. Mostly small dings and scratches - something you would expect from 25 year old instrument. There are several small wear spots - one above the pickup, one below the G string, small amount of buckle rash on the back. The body has oil finish so it wears through quite easily. A couple of dings on the neck, but nothing that affects playabilty. Electronics are a little scratchy, but not enough to be an issue when gigging. I comes with the the OHSC but previous owner removed the inner lining from the case. It is good enough for safe shipping, but I would not use it for anything else. Cash price is $250 plus shipping. A fair price I think. Trade value would be a little higher. As far as trades go, I'd only be interested in a 5 or a 6 string. Let me know if you have any questions or would like more detailed pictures. Thanks, Vidas
