Selling two Make Sounds Loudly Pedals bass distortion pedal. This is custom build and has ton of gain and versatile sounds. $135 shipped. 1. Parallel Bass Drive. 3 band eq each with gain control and silicon or led clipping and a master treble control with selectable freq. It’s got a great Vitriol kind of sound with more mids if you need and can get into fuzz territory with the ability to tweak and get more or less of what you need. The finish is raw and the scratches etc are intentional by the builder. 2. Treble Only Distortion. No Longer Available
Seems pretty cool, any sound samples that you could share? Is there a no diode option on the clipping switch? If your looking to keep lows clean while driving/distorting the rest you just keep the bass gain low? The master treble set up as an actual volume or a roll off? Thanks!
I don’t have any clips but I could work on that. It can do subtle to melt your face off. Each freq has a gain control and choice of led or silicon, no non choice. You can dial in minimal gain for each so if you want to have some bass but not too crazy that’s easy, the silicon is also less in your face so I had it on that for the bass and mids. The treble switch lets you choose the between 3 freqs and then how much via the pot. I believe it’s not a roll off, I’ll have to double check when I’m home.
Here is a link to me messing around with the pedal, no video. I go through controls from left to right, starting with bass gain, etc bring it up then down and to the next one. The last bit is rolling off and then boosting the different treble freqs on the master treble control. Signal chain is G&L SB-1 w/GHS pressurewounds 44-102 ->pedal->M-Audio Fastrack Pro interface->Garageband on my mac.
Thanks for putting some sounds up! It seems like a really tweakable pedal similar in design to a VFE Triumverate. I love the simple aesthetic to it as well. I currently have 3 other drive/distortion pedals and no gigs which is a dilemma, but I do love toys! I'm going to have a better listen on some headphones when I get home and think about it some more. Thanks again!
It’s not a treble only pedal, the distortion is applied to that frequency and adjustable. I use all my dirt with a clean blend, so for me it was meant to fill that spot and really cut through which is does.
Reverb’s algorithm has it set that anything under 65% of asking price is rejected before the seller even sees it. Anything like that is insulting.
