I've read with interest some of the "gramma pad" stories, but not willing to spend the money. so I thought I'd get some semi-stiff foam and put it under my cabinet. normally I play on a 4" wooden stage, so I had alot of bass going into the stage and into me and the drummer!!! anyway I was wondering around wal-mart looking for something to use. I thought about a sheat of floatation foam that I bought one time, however the summer product was not all out yet so I bought a water noodle for $1.50. I cut it to fit inside my portable rack for transport and cut it lengthwise for a semicircle profile.

It seemed to work better than not having it, but I thought I would share.
