Makeshift stack

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by TheLowEndDawg, Mar 30, 2004.

  1. I just purchased a Behringer BX3000T and was very close to getting a 212 cab to use with it but a few very costly things had to be taken care of immediatly so Im EXTREMELY tight on money right now with no cab. I was curious if it was posible to use a 1x12 combo and a 1x10 combo in a makeshift stack to mess around with. I realize it's not going to have a very good sound but I dont plan on using it for any gigs anytime soon. Maybe just to practice. This rig isn't going to be used for long just until i can afford a good cab. thanks

Sure, lots of people use two amps. Not so much bassists, but the few that do (Timmy C) use it with devastating results. Try having the 'biggest' clean and the other one distorted. :bassist:
