    Good morning all,

I am ordering a new case for my Kimmel and need to give them a tracing for sizing. For those of you with a roundback bass, how did you do this and keep the bass for rocking back and forth? Seems like on a flat floor to keep the paper flat and anchored it is a bit of a chore.

  2. What about putting some book stacks on both sides and moving them a bit when you reach them to continue marking the paper?

Others have suggested bracing the bass with foam or books, I will give that a shot when I am doing it later today.

I don't remember having a problem, there's a vid on the Messina website about how to make the tracing...
