http://gmy.news.yahoo.com/vid/14594373 This is pretty interesting. It's good the man is a Marine. I suspect that battle training came in handy.
Actually, I think a chainsaw would be a pretty poor weapon for fighting a large cat. Although it could potentially inflict terrible damage to the animal, it would also be very easy to have it knocked back on to whoever is weilding it.
Notice he repeatedly mentions bearing down hard with the chainsaw, hitting the cat as hard as he could, aiming for the neck, etc., but the animal then ran away? With no mention of any injury to it? If you think the man was tough, think about how tough that cat was!
I got pretty excited for a minute - I thought there would be a link to a fight between an unarmed man & a mountain lion with a chainsaw. as in... "Come see the giant man eating chicken!" ian
Are they teaching marines how to fight with chainsaws yet? As we all know, that's going to be our best defense against alien invasion.
Yeah, that cat must have been made of win, some fellow's just hacking into your neck with a chainsaw, and you can still run!
if you notice in the background to the right just above the chainsaw, one guy is *****slapping another guy...
Awesome. Too bad he didn't have a souvenir to carry home. "Wow, that's a realistic looking head of a lion" "Yeah, I cut it off with a chainsaw"
Better then nothing. And I'll stop now so i won't be responsible for locking up this thread. Good for the dude anyway, protected his kids.
