Well, men, we are in fact manly men, but does anyone get manicures? For me it seems almost natural since my hands are used for everything - keys, guitar, bass, I do woodwork, cooking, have a girlfriend, stock shelves, and write, so my hands need to be neat, tidy and clean right?

So is a manicure totally wrong for a 17 year old guy? I don't see what's wrong with paying a pro to cut your nails the right way, massage your hands and listen to them gossip in a foreign language.

My opinion, it's okay as long as you don't get polish. What's yours?

    You are a metrosexual.

I realize that you can't spell "manicure" without "man" but don't mistake that for manliness. There's nothing manly about manicures.

i get manicures on a semi-regular basis. my lady needs my hands, fingers, and fingernails to be in superb condition, she enjoys a soft gentle touch.

Yeah, I think manicures are fine. But I also get them polished. So yeah, maybe not listen to me, the whole not heterosexual thing may skew my opinion.

Dude....are you serious??? Come on. My opinion of you is forever changed.

Never will you catch me getting my fingernails cut "professionally". Is it really that hard for you to cut your nails on your own? You need a "professional" to do it? Massage your own hands dude! Sheesh!

    :)

Only pimps and coke-heads are allowed manicures... for all of their hard work.

  10. I don't see why your hands need to be "neat, tidy and clean". It's a woman thing, IMO.

My girlfriend thinks that the skin on my elbows is too dry. At least she didn't ask me to get a freakin' manicure... yet.

  11. Rugged to the world, large to all the lifters, hard to all the bad guys, soft for the ladies- that's our "Wild Eagle."

That being said, there's nothing wrong with a hand, foot or back massage.

    "Manly men..."
That Robin Hood parody came to my mind... :D
    "We're men!
    We're manly men!
    We're men in thighs!"
(for that last line the pitch shifted a bit higher)

    :D :D :D :D hehehe...

I cut my nails myself, I keep them short, but no manicure, thankyou :p

  18. All I know is when my Wife to-be was going to cosmetology school a while back, my job was to be her "practice buddy" when she needed to polish up her skillz. My hands never looked better.

And "payback" was fun too. Those who mock haven't treid.... :bassist:

I guess what I'm saying is go ahead and question my "manliness" all you want, but I get more tail than a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game. ;)
