Manne Acoustibass fretless 5

[/IMG]Well, a huge gig fell through and unfortunately the bills still need to be paid....here's my Manne Acoustibass 5....it's an amazing instrument with an incredible variety of tones from mid-seventies Jaco staccato to Ray Brown upright punch....you can even use roundwounds without destroying the fingerboard! These are super rare in the U.S. and retail for almost $5000 brand new....so help a brother out and enjoy an amazing, unique fretless monster! Asking price: $2400 but I'm negotiable....here are some specs:

-handmade in Italy with gorgeous hand-[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]rubbed red finish

-features a lightweight maple body with spruce top

-semi-hollow chamber beneath the bridge which contains
piezo pickups in each saddle

-passive J pickup and active 9V Manne preamp
(volume, blend btw J pickup and piezos, and stacked mid/bass)

-patent pending neck-through construction

-"F" coating on fingerboard for safe use with ROUNDWOUNDS!

not sure of the string spacing, but the Manne is by far the best fretless 5 I've ever felt in my life. It's perfectly balanced, and the neck has this super thin U profile that fits perfectly into your hand. I switched out the low B for a high C and the voice this bass has is really awesome....it's amazing that there's really no buzz in the states about these extremely high quality instruments.
