  1. Does anyone know of different techniques on using a bow on your bass? Any info on this technigue would be greatly adored.

    im sure its really not a good idea to do that no matter how fun it may seem
    if u have ever looked at a violin the bridge is curved so that u can play one string at a time and 2 at the most without doing glissando

    one reason not to is that ud get rosin on your bass and it would make it all sticky and such

    Tried it once, and the roundwounds will absolutely screw the hair on the bow.

    I would have to say, don't do it, it is a waste of energy, if you really want to impress someone, then break out a DB on stage, just make sure that you play it well.
