Mark Andes (Bassist with Spirit, Jo Jo Gunne, Firefall, Heart, & Others) Interview

Funny, I've been listening to a lot of Spirit for the past few days.

 

Good solid player. Fan since '72.

 

The epitome of a journeyman bassist!

 

I always listen to Spirit. I saw then in concert a few times as well back then.

 

Nice guy as well.
I recall Mark purchased a Guild acoustic B50 or B30 from us when he was playing with Heart.

 

Mark is R&R royalty and the real deal. I had some really fun times with Mark when my band opened for Heart in the 80's. It was my first time playing bass on a stadium stage and the Clare Brothers sound guys let me stretch out getting a feel for the sound in the room before sound check. When I stopped Mark was standing behind me with a big smile on his face and made a remark that some may find off color "Makes your d### hard, don't it?" We were instantly friends.
