I am considering trade my Eden WT550 for MBass tube 800 as I prefer to carry smaller/lighter rig at my gigs. However, untill I buy another DB 112 (300w at 8ohms) should I call it safe if I run MB 800 through single 300w cabinet? Ofcourse at smaller volume?
    please advice...

I use my littlemarktube 800 through 1 non-neo 8 ohm avatar 1x12 for low volume gigs. Works perfectly fine. Just listen for speaker distortion.

You can use any amp with any cab, just be realistic on the volume and use your ears. Power ratings on commercial cabs are thermal ratings, they tell you when the voice coil burns out at some frequency. If that frequency is even listed its usually pretty high, and doesn't tell you much about the low frequency power handling of the cab.
