My youth director told us today that he heard on the radio that someone went into Mark Hoppus' house and shot and killed him and his body gaurd. I dont know what this is about. I fiqured we would have heard something more about it.

Google found it in 0.21 seconds.

Don't use other search engines. Google is the best. Period.

Mark Hoppus is a bassist, right?

I'll move it to BASSISTS. If he's not a bass player, sorry.

    C'mon biggun....they's just be jokin'.

Even though we may not be able to stand his music, I honestly don't think anybody here really dislikes him enough to wish death upon him.

thank god he's _not_ dead, then they'd just try to make him into some "relevant" musical genius of the present generation.

Hey, you guys remember another bassist in a hugely popular pop band that was supposed to be dead, but he really wasn't? :D

For those that didn't know: Paul McCartney

Unfortunately, most people who were mourning for Hoppus would probably say: "...who?"
  15. If you turn Enema of the state upside down, it will give you a number to call saying that Mark Hoppus is dead. the numbers 581.

I wonder who had so much time on their hands that they would start a rumour like that? A deranged music critic perhaps? A bass teacher who finally snapped? The fat guy from New Found Glory? Maybe Jaco rose from the grave and started it himself.

Look on the bright side. At least now you won't have to deal with teenie boppers and gel-heads wearing black armbands and mourning the loss of (another) "voice of a generation". and MTV won't be showing billions of tribute shows. And we won't have to hear the smarmy jerks from Spin talk about the musical impact Blink had....and we won't have to see Tom Delonge cry (shudder)
  16. damn, some of you people are mean... Blink's music has gotten worse, but if he actually got killed, I wouldn't think it was funny at all.
