Markbass 2x10 Traveler or mark bass 2x10 standard

    I might buy the Markbass 2x10 Traveler or mark bass 2x10 standard to use with my tome print TC electronic 800 head which one would sound better

    I've had both... the Traveler is lighter & has a piezo tweeter... the Std. 102 has a horn & front ports. I would say to go with the Std.- if you're looking for full sound & you'll get a bit more low end with the front ports.

    If you are planning to gig this system I would consider doubling the quantity of cabinets. I would not even try to play an average, for me, gig with a single 2x10. If the 800W is accurate you could easily kill a single 2x10.
     
  4. For one cab only hands down you should consider the standard. As other's have stated you will get a fuller sound. However I would also express caution that you may overpower the cab with that amp.
