I'm listing this as new because it's only been played gently at home & it's still in the same brand new condition. This is one of the best sounding acoustic amps!

Very versatile too, it includes a tweeter attenuator. Markbass makes two acoustic amp models and this is the one that works equally well with bass instruments. I think it would be great for upright. I've played both electric bass and nylon string guitar through it and it sounds great with either one.

  2. So why are you selling it, if I may ask?

My intention was to use this for nylon string guitar. But then I decided to use my Trace Elliot cube for my nylon string guitar. I found the "cube" used after I bought the AC101.

The cube is unbelievably small & strictly for guitar, not appropriate at all for bass & not as loud by a long shot. I don't mind though because I don't have an acoustic bass & I'm trying to raise money for a Parker guitar.

I play electric bass & have a pair of NY604 for those gigs.
