I bought one of these today at GC. Sounds great to me with my LM2 at 4ohms. It even fits in my 2 door accord with the passenger seat folded down.. couldn't believe it. I'd like to get some feedback on anyone else using one of these. RM
Nice to know that it can fit in a sedan when needed. I have the same setup. Sounds awesome. Try it with the VLE turned way clockwise.
i played one at GC one recent day... sounded great and punchy as all get out with the LM2. i'd love to gig one, but as of current, my 8x10 positions are already filled...
I just reviewed the CL 108 (and Classic 300) in issue #2 of Bass Gear Magazine (which goes out to print this week!). Great cab! Tom.
I have one and I use it with the Markbass SA450(500 watts like the Littlemark but with more flexability) and a Carvin B1500 for big halls and outside gigs. I LOVE IT ! I'll try to post pictures soon.
I got one and love it! I have a R500 and LMII I run through it. Not only does It sound GREAT, it's light as hell ( well for a 8x10 anyway ).
I would give my left you know what to have one of those cabs! I have a CL104 that sounds great with my LITTLE MARK II as well as my SD 800. GC had the CL 104's for 100.00 of sale price, but mine is only an 8ohm. Youa LUCKY MON !!! 4 ohms WOW
thanks for all the replies guys. I have a CMD121p that will be powering the 810 on a gig friday night. Since the amp inside of it is an LM2, I'll disconnect the combo speaker and use the full 500w. I think I'll finally have all my large and small gigs covered for a while. until I get and F500?. Tom B: How many 810's have you played through? its nice to see this recomendation come from you. Cheers R
I have never owned an 8x10 (other than the CL 108), though I have three different brands of 8x10 (Ampeg and Hartke, in addition to the Markbass) in for review, at the moment. I have also borrowed a vintage SVT rig for an extended period (ended up buying the head, not the cab), and gigged using a provided 8x10 (Ampeg, Peavey, Trace Elliot) a number of times. I think that is it. And though they are not the same, I've had a lot more experience with (and not counting the CL 108, generally prefer) 6x10's. Tom.
