MarkBass Combo As Mic Amp?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by john nam, Apr 20, 2009.

  1. This might be a dumb question, but my son's birthday is coming up and I'm in need of a small PA just to make some announcements on a mic, will my MarkBass 121p work? I know that my combo is not full range, but it does have a piezo tweeter.

I initially misunderstood your post, so erased my response.

Yes, it will work fine, either using the XLR in, or the 1/4" input, depending on the mic cable you have. Just make sure you try it first, to make sure the XLR has enough gain to get loud enough. It should with no problem.

Actually, it pretty much is full range. And it will work just fine.
  4. Thanks you guys.
