Markbass Compressore: stiff footswitch?

    Hi,

    I have just received a Markbass Compressore (the current design).

    The footswitch feels very stiff compared to the footswitches of my Eden TN preamp (the only other pedal I own).

    Is that normal? Or does my Compressore have a problem?

    likely that's normal. try any EHX true bypass analogue pedal (like Neo Clone/Bass Clone/Soul Food). does your Markbass switch feel stiffer?

    old-school analogue switches are indeed stiffer than modern ones, this is normal. I had a 1st gen Compressore and recall it required some force to press, but not more than the usual analogue clicking footswitch like EHX uses.
