  1. I'm a LM2 user and big Markbass fan. Have heard many, many comments on the distinctive appearance of Markbass products, and I'm curious enough about it to put up a poll.

For the record, my personal response is (2).

I voted yuk but I have an LMII and a Traveler 102P.
  3. not really a big fan of it - yellow seemed a bit risky to go w/. but in the end i'd probably have their stuff if it were pink!

that being said, I popped off the logo on my minimark and my lmII is the limited edition that looks more gold than yeller . . .

Seems crass to me... but one could argue that it is smart marketing: You can tell what is being played from a long ways off. Now if they would just sell them at other places aside from GC...

I like it a lot. It's the logo that I don't care for, and I popped it off my cab. (Easy to do, by the way, in case any of you are curious!)

Works for me. It's distinctive. It also kind of matches my Hercules guitar stand.

I've thought about painting my LMII or somehow changing the appearance, but at the same time I don't want to ruin it.

However, I figure I can go a little crazy on it since I know I should never sell it.
  11. yerk, i wouldn't go near them if their stuff was pink :meh:

    ....unless it was an endorsement

    I'll vote on this one...

My experience is that they sounds great. But man that Tonka truck theme is uuuuugly!

    SAT style...

    *still running away*

edit: I'd still buy one, though

I like my LE red F1. Less enthused about the regular colour scheme, but it wouldn't keep me from buying one.

I kind of like the colors, but I bought it for the great tone that it produces.

I thought the LM II I had was okay looking but the F1 I now have is a great looking amp. :) I wouldn't mind a little better looking and feeling knobs, however.
  18. I really stands out in the places I play....but at the end of the day it is about the tone...When I am standing in front of it, I can't tell what color it is, but I can hear that sweet tone.

I won an auction for a TA-501 a couple days ago. I hope it arrives soon. I heard one in person the other day and instantly knew what I was getting for a second amp. I got it for a decent price too. The graphics are a bit bold but since my other amp is a green (Trace Elliot) it's not a big deal.
