Hey, my dad is looking to get a smaller head that he can carry around easier.
And he is a good mate of Bob Daisley who is being endorsed or is endorsed by Markbass
and is looking at getting one of his HT503 heads.
He asked me to look around for a review or rate for it.
I will be buying his Mesa Boogie head when he buys it so i'm excited!
Haven't been able to find much online cheers.

If he's looking for a small head that's easy to carry, he may want to check out the measurements of that head first. I wouldn't consider it small by today's standards. They do have models that are quite a bit smaller.

I think in comparison to his head atm it is alot easier to move around and with less fuss
This is just one he can get very easily

Since we don't know what head he currently has, it's hard to know if it's smaller/lighter or not. "Mesa head" could very well be a Subway or Walkabout head which are smaller.

I believe that amp is essentially identical to a Music Man amp called HD-500, which was designed and made my MarkBass before MarkBass became the global name it is now.

Possibly Music Man only had the rights to certain markets, probably the United States since there was no MarkBass yet in the U.S.

As stated above, it's not a small or particularly light amp by today's standards. It's a good amp, but nothing amazing. I'd much prefer something more modern, smaller and lighter and sounds as good or better. A used MarkBass LMII for example.

Hey, new user here. I actually have one of these Amps with the 6speaker cab back in England. But I've been living in Canada now for 4 years and no plans to return. Any idea what these would be worth and if there is a market for them? I would be very keen to sell as it serves me no purpose at my dads! Haha. Also i thought it was an incredible Amp personally!
