I've read most of the rave reviews about the LMII, but this one seems better for someone like me who doesn't need 500W of power.

Anyone try one of these out yet?

Another question, anyone know of any online retailers for Markbass products? All I can find in the way of dealers is GC, with no online prices or anything.

GC is the only source of MarkBass products in the US you would have to go out of the country to get one from someone other than GC. From other posts I've read Markbass price here is the same or better than in other countries. Also not all models have started showing up in the US,

I have the LMII and really like it sounds good at low volume as well as high. Worth checking out.

    ElBajista,
I almost bought the LM250,then last minute
decided to go with cmd 121p combo, the 250 is
    a LM II w/less power,here's a canadian site that
i'm not affiliated with in any way (clubbass.ca)
you can order anything MB makes from them, there
    in Toronto..

I can't believe that places like Bass Central, Bass Club, or Bass Northwest aren't Markbass dealers!

About the LMII, I was GASing for one for a while, but upon visiting the Markbass website and seeing that they have a lower-power head for a cheaper price I redirected my sights. 250W Would definitely be enough for me at this point. :smug:

What made you change your mind? The Combo has the LM250 or the LMII?

Thanks for the link! I'm browsing their website as I type. :D

I just got my CMD 102P combo and I am lovin it! Loud, punchy, light, what more could you ask for? Markbass has just fairly recently been introduced into the US, and they are slowly delivering products into GC stores ONLY. No online sales yet. See this thread for more info.

    ElBajista,
I was going to mate the LM250 with my 4ohm dr,bass
1260 that would have been 50lbs,121p combo is 29lbs
with B&C 12"and LM II head built in 500/w,
after selling the drbass cab cost was just a bit more
    than the 250

    cheers
