Sorry if this has already been posted. You guys seen this yet?

A modular bass head from Markbass. You can remove and customize the preamp, EQ, and power stage of the amp and then switch each section out at will by just sliding out the sections.

Check it out on their front page:

  2. Randall has something like that for guitar amps but you can only change the pre. That looks hot! New broke guy gas going on.

Yeah, it looks really cool, but apparently is quite pricey. Too much for me anyway.
  4. Really cool !

I also noticed that Alain Caron joined the MarkBass family !!!

If this guy joins this brand, that speaks for itself about the quality of Markbass amps !!!

I have had my Markbass for the past two years and simply love it !

    Received this email today:

We’ll add the specifics on the website soon, including the locator with the list of selected dealers where you can find the MoMark.

The size is the same for all the frames:

    10.63 in. / 27.0 cm
    12.99 in. / 33.0 cm
    3.23 in. / 82 mm

    Amp Frame 250 3,1Kg / 6.83lbs

    Amp Frame 500 3,4Kg / 7.5 lbs

    Amp Frame 600 3,2Kg / 7.05lbs

    Amp Frame 800 3,2Kg / 7.05lbs

Any module weights different, from 130gr (0.28 lbs) to 180gr (0.39 lbs), the weight of the complete MoMark amp depends from the choices but as you can see it’s light as well as the other Markbass heads.

Prices are set by the distributor in your country, so you will have to contact them for this info.

But generally the MoMark prices depend on how simple or complex the modules you choose are... but to give you an example, if you make an SD 800 using the MoMark system, it will actually be cheaper than an SD 800! So the prices will be in the same range as our other heads.
  6. Ive tested! It has loads of options! Good stuff...but the LM3 is where my money went :)

Does anyone have a picture of a single chassis (like a normal person would order), as opposed to the monster rack? Would be cool to see a regular production unit.
