Also interested!... It will be hitting the shops in the UK in the next few days, probably retailing at about £100/£130 cheaper than the MXR VM280 vintage!

Update: I bought one!... I like it... Had to back off the octave knob a tad more than I expected to get the sweet spot... I'm impressed.. it's very good & not expensive ..very small footprint.. ticks a lot of boxes!

Very good to know! Thanks for reporting back.
I had the regular MB octave for a little while and it sounded really good.

I ended up selling it tough after a side by side against a mij OC2.
The tone was really close, but the OC2 was fatter.
Since there was almost no size difference between the OG MB Octaver and the OC2, I let the MB go.

Now, considering the size of the Raw series and the positive reviews it's been getting, I'll probably give it a go on the pedaloard and move the OC2 to the studio.

I tried one quite a while ago and found the tracking to be not great. I did not get the chance to try it with a bass, similar to my own however so...

Tracking is great in my opinion... Works the job well for me & the small footprint is really appreciated on my current board..

Having tried the VBO, OC-2, OC-5 and a few digital pedals, the MB Octaver Raw is definitely the closest to the OC-2 with better tracking on low notes and much improved headroom. Close enough to bump the OC-2 off my board for now.

The MB Octaver Raw can run at 9v or 12v. Does it make any difference to output or performance running at 9v? Will it have more headroom at 12v?

I picked up the MB Octaver Raw and I'm really impressed. So simple to operate and get the desired ratio between dry and octave. I run it wirh a blend or octave only and happy with both
