Markbass traveler 151P vs Aguilar SL112

  1. I'm getting really close to pulling the trigger on one (or two) aggie SL112's, and I wanted to know if anyone could compare them in tone & volume to the MB Traveler 151P?

I currently own 3 Markbass cabs & I'm thinking of getting rid of them all, and I'm trying to figure out what I need to replace them. I'm unhappy with the MB tone (I don't like the mids).

    I have a 151P for my small gig/practice cab.

    I have a 410 HR for my "regular" gig/practice

I use a 410HR and 15HR for my "big" gigs and practices.

Will an SL112 easily replace the 151P?
    Will 2x SL112 replace my 410HR?

How close will 2xSL112 be to my "big" rig? I assume not very close - What would be a good replacement for this? I'm assuming that with better cabs, I could replace the 410 and 115 with a single cab... or is that just wishful thinking?

Could I run 4xSL112's (2 in parallel, with the whole mess in series for 8 ohms)? Would that replace my "big rig"?

    thanks for the help!

  2. Anyone? I actually just ordered 2x sl112's, so I'll find out at some point in the future, but would love to hear from people on the other questions.
