I think I read somewhere not long ago that Markbass made some adjustments or did something with the limiter on the newer LM models so that it allowed you to get more headroom out of the heads is there any truth to, or does anyone know.

I believe that was discussed a number of years ago when they were introducing the LMIII, but as far as I know, the power management is the same.

I believe there is a revised limiting/power management system on the MoMark power units, but don't know the details.

The LMIII puts out a reasonably slammin', honest 500 watts. Plenty loud and uncompressed at 4ohms for most applications IMO and IME
