Marleaux Consat Custom 6 String up for sale.

    Specs are:

Highly figured Birdseye Maple Top and headstock
    Mahogony body
    5-piece lightly flamed maple neck
    24-fret Ebony fingerboard
    Bartolini Soapbar Pickups
    Custom Marleaux Programmable Preamp

    I would rate this a solid 8.5/10

This is a gorgeous instrument that has a wide variety of great sounds. I hate to get rid of it, but I've realized that I'm much more comfortable playing a 5.

I am asking $2000 firm for this bass - what I paid for it used. Honestly this bass should sell for much more - the quality of construction is unbelievable, and it sounds great and plays very easily for a 6 string.

I will accept Paypal (if you pay the fees) cashier's check, or money order. I'm not really interested in trades right now.

    Pics can be seen at:

Man, nice looking bass. If I didn't already have an F Bass BN6 than I'd pick this one up.

    Is this a 35" scale?

    Damn, that was funny. :D
  6. LOL! Sorry about the large pics, I forgot to include the "Actual Size" disclaimer :)

Actually it is a 34" scale. However I would have to say that this is one of the tightest B strings I have ever come across - right up there with the MTD, Modulus, and F Bass.
