I saw these pictures on FaceBook. So, if you're not on FB, I'm not sure that you'll be able to see them.

The bassist is Kim Goode (of The Shakedown Combo)

    I like the scroll head.
  4. It's lovely.
I suppose it's kvetching to think the bridge is misplaced.

Love the tailpiece. And the matching speaker cab - really ties the room together!

  7. LOVE This "Mars Attacks" themed bass!

Not many people get it anymore when I make the Aliens' noise ...

Hey! PW! Good to see you grumbling about the runes here more often, again.
Since you like the Mars Attack bass, why not join in the fun, something more from your era? You could get a '50's flick airbrushed on your Joseph Bohmann 5er, something like...

    "Forbidden Planet",

    or "This Island Earth".

Perhaps "War of the Worlds" is more your style:

...'cause Goode's already got Mars, you wouldn't want "Invaders From Mars", or would you?

No, not colour. You're more of a stark B&W kind of guy – "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

Here we go! This is the one for your Bohmann's transformation: "It Came From Outer Space" emblazoned on the Bohmann's belly...

The Alien creature down the ribs of the Bohmann...
With the movie-poster on the back! it1.jpg
