marshall bass state 150?

    has anyone tried a marshall bass state 150 head? i'm thinking of buying one for some outdoor practice. is it better than buying a promethean 3110 combo,or a laney rb3? inputs will be greatly appreciated TIA

    Is it a 150 watt bass head? I would think you'd want a lot more power for outdoors, not to mention spkr cabs. tell us the whole story.

    yes it is the 150 watt head. it will be used for small outdoor jams only, more like an open-walled garage type venue.it costs around 200 usd (converted) with a free crown 15-inch 250w speaker.2nd hand.

    Try it, but it wouldn't be enough rig for me, and I have a small rig- 300 watts 2x12.
