Okay, so I think I get the radius measuring. Now I just need to know the proper procedure for masking off the neck before I Mirror Coat it. I have a fretless (converted) bass with a roesewood fingerboard that I want to coat with System 3 Mirror Coat. Is there a specific technique for masking the neck (and body - since it's a neck-through) to get the most "idiot-proof" coverage. In the tutorial, I wasn't able to see any detail on this part of the procedure. It looked like plastic drop-cloth and I don't know what kind of tape, but I'm not certain.

Also, if anyone has any ideas about a neat way to make side fretline markers (on the top side of the neck) for each fret position, I'd love to hear 'em!

    Thanks!
