(and the following is not a reflection on my current TABEVIL status)

You've got to be kidding me! There's 3 notes in the main riff! There's your hint: 3 notes and their octaves.

Go use thine ears, my friend.

This is a good start. I wouldn't consider you out of the doghouse just yet. Hmm, should I link the sheet music for this tune?

    Let's try it anyway. :D

I've never played this tune, so I have no idea if this is accurate or not.

I stand corrected - a whopping six notes in the main riff.

Damn, no wonder he wanted someone else to do the work for him

You know, I think I'd lost my edge....

Thr rhythm & articulation make this tune.
If someone isn't quite used to playin' something in this sorta vibe(Reggae-esque)...it can be 'tricky'(IMO).

    2-bar phrasing starts @bars 7 & 8.
    The verse starts @ bars 15-16(vocals enter a little later)...more 2-bar phrasing(w/ a slight variation in bars 25 & 27).
Notice the 'space' between the bars(bars 15/16; 17/18; etc).

Fun tune to play around with...provided your drummer & guitarist are on 'it'. ;)

  9. Thank´s Jazzbo I´ll find out at practice tonight if this is correct. Pacman, to be able to use your ears you first need the music(which I dont have access to), have time which I also dont have and if you read the sheet you see that the main riff doesnt go through the whole tune with out any change, but it´s good to see that a classy wit like yours doesnt go unused
You can count on that jimk this one will fit right into our program, and thanks for the tip.

Yeah, this is accurate, at least for the main themes. My band started playing this song about 2 weeks ago; first time live is this Saturday night.

I'm hoping that the crowd will be hip enough to dig on the mad phat reggae.

  11. Busy week for the TABEVIL clan.
Met with lots of bitterness, keep up the good work guys. You have plenty of backup.

I've been drinking very heavily this week to cope with all the negative vibes we've been getting.

I've been drinking very heavily this week.

    No reason.

    Just a normal week.
