    Price drop $999 + shipping!

I love this bass but I have a serious crush on a custom tube amp;)

This is an earlier version of Matt's Level 5 design, I believe this was his actual player. I got it from the guy that got it from him and I've had it 3 years or so.
    So...

    Alder body w/ satin finish
34" scale quartersawn maple neck w/gloss finish and 1 3/4" nut.
    Birdseye board w/ shell inlays
Nordstrand P5 and MM5.2 pickups w/ coil split tap.
    Glockenklang 3 band preamp
    Hipshot bridge 19mm and tuners
    Dunlop straplocks
    9.5 lbs. and very comfortable

Seems like we've all played the heck out of it, so there is some playwear but nothing that should put you off. These pix are old and don't reflect the new pre, I will shoot some and post asap.
But the rest is all good news, recent fret dressing means it's playing great, and the Nordstrand P p/u sounds fabulous! The MM p/u does it's thing well, and the blend of the 2 beats the hell out of any P/J config I've heard. Let's call the overall sound 'robust' and leave it at that.:smug:
Ships in a good Levys/Lakland gig bag

Pulcinella basses are WAY underrated... I have a jazz config version of this and it easily holds its own with my Sadowsky, Xotic, and Nordy basses. This is a steal.

After looking at the new photos I'm dropping the price $100 due to the wear and tear. It's all cosmetic though, the bass performs beautifully. This is about the most comfortable 5 string I've strapped on, the Level 5 body style is where it's at. The neck has nice rolled edges too.

Between the body shape and bridge placement the reach feels like you are playing a Medium scale. Way comfy:cool:

If I didin't have five MPGs already, I'd be all over this. The PrecisionMan pickup configuration is really nice.
