May have been hacked on facebook

    Somewhere to the left of "Whoopie"
    Someone is sending out friend requests with my photo and name. Took some security measures and changed my photo. Also reported it to Facebook, no response from them.
    Has this ever happened to you?

    I wouldn't consider that "hacked". I'm not sure what the word for it is though. What they usually do is send friend requests to the same people you're already friends with.
    I'm not sure what the objective is, but I've heard about it happening.

    Found two versions of the same friend with the same photo. I deleted him, that may be how they got access to my photo

    Anybody can pull up anybodys profile picture and copy it, then make a new profile. I'm not sure how they benefit from this ... unless in my ex Wife's case, some girl used one of her photos to possibly appear better looking.

    Edit: if you search for somebody who's profile is set to private, the only thing that comes up is their name and main profile picture

    Edit2: Your account is hacked if someone is remotely sending out friend requests from YOUR account ... that doesn't sound like what I'm reading is going on here
