That's Lydia Pense-- Don't you know where it's at? It's down to the bone--
Lydia Pense, lead singer of Cold Blood, circa 1968.
get one and become a rock legend simples
I go hard at my bass too. It's about the tone, which the amp can't compensate for.
Lydia Pense and Cold Blood playing the Haywood Zucchini Festival in 2013:
Still beautiful, and still can bring it with that voice.
I've always been a fan of Cold Blood. Lydia's voice is practically a force of nature.
Kustom, Sunn, Acoustic... quite the backline. I dig the 4 x 12 Acoustic rig like Albert King used to play through.
A friend borrowed the Kustom head, so I used the excuse to buy an Acoustic 360-- only got rid of it in 1976 when I got a load of (Cold Blood's) Domingo Balinton's GMT-- went and traded both my Showman heads to get one, like a dumbass, sure wish I had one now-- but I still have the GMT, paired it with a Sunn 2000s box with JBL K145s in it, my GOD the efficiency-- I still run the cab when I can get help moving it lol, the grandkids finally killed the GMT so I replaced it with a GK 400RB III-- and I still just love the sound--
