I have for sale a 2019 Mayones Hadrien Feraud PJ4. When I first saw the press release for this bass, I knew I had to have one....and what a beautiful bass. I was a little hesitant in buying something I had never played...and to be honest, I had never even heard of Mayones before I bought it. When I got it, it was everything I dreamed it would be. I bought it because I had a few summer gigs lined up, and I thought it would be fun to have something new, but unfortunately everything has been cancelled. I thought I'd give someone else the opportunity to own it...and appreciate it. The bass is in absolutely mint condition and has never left my house. It weighs in at 8 lbs, 12 oz on my postal scale. I put a set of D'Addario Chromes immediately after I received it, but I will also include the original D'Addario roundwounds that were on the bass when I got it. I've decided to open up my trade possibilities a bit. May also consider vintage or Custom Shop Fenders (Jazz or Precision), EBMM Sterling, Sadowsky, Lakland, etc. Will need to be 4 string and prefer 1.5" nut. Feel free to reach out....all I can say is no.
I have (and love) this bass... what a truly wonderful and versatile instrument!! Tone for days... plays as easy as any Fodera. GLWTS
You shouldn’t go lower! People, I’m telling you, this is an incredible bass... my #1... so versatile... and that preamp... an absolute beast. Surprised it’s still here.
You know, I'm probably not a good one to ask. I've never been very good about explaining sound and I've never even played this bass through my amp. I've only played it through my Cafe Walter and a set of headphones. There is a audio clip on their website if that helps. Thanks...
Thanks for the offer, but not really what I'm looking for. Just let me know if you'd be interested in a cash deal. Thanks!
I thought I'd try one last price drop....$2750 shipped. That's as low as I can go. Also, if you have something to trade at a lower price point and want to throw some cash into the deal, I'll certainly consider it. Thanks!
The world's largest 6 pack in LaCrosse, yess! (Native Wisconsinite here) That bass looks amazing. I wish Mayones necks were thicker and rounder because that's what my hands like! (There's a lewd joke in there somewhere. )
Has no one offered up a valid trade offer on this yet? I understand the economy doesn't really allow for a lot of people being able to outright buy something like this right now, but surely someone must have something they're not playing that's worth trading. Stunning bass, and someone is going to be very happy with it. GLWTS!
Thanks! I've had several trade offers, but nothing has stuck yet. I will be the first to admit this is a tough price point. Because of that, the options for an even trade are kind of limited. Many people don't have the funds to add cash to the deal, and although I'm willing to add a little cash for the right deal, I can't add a lot. The joy is I am in no hurry to move this. I've priced it about as low as I'm willing to go (which is a very fair price) and if a trade is meant to be, it will happen.
I wish the World's Largest 6 pack still looked like that. That picture is from it's hey day when G. Heileman Brewing Co. was in business. The brewery is still operational and does mostly contract brewing there now. They put some sleeves over the tanks to give them the 6 pack look, but those have faded and don't look so great any more. This brewery will start contract brewing Pabst in the near future, so maybe Pabst will pay to have them painted as Pabst cans. And to respond to your comment, you are right, this bass is amazing. I think I'll avoid any lewd jokes for the moment. Take care!
I just pulled the trigger on a '72 P bass, so the Mayones bass needs to go. $2600 shipped....and I'm no longer looking for any trades. You will not find a nicer bass at this price. Don't wait too long.....
