I found the website of a Polish luthier, Mayones. They have two lines, "Mayones" and "Flame." Has anybody ever heard of these?
Some of the pics are yellow - that's the way they are on the website.

They have Jazz and Stingray copies. Cool (to me) is that the 5-string looks like a SR4:

I really like some of the body shapes. There's the Be:

    the Patriot:

    and the Comodous:

I think if these sounded as good as they looked, they'd be incredible.

    Has anyone played one?

Nobody? I thought with stuff this nice looking, somebody would have heard of it!

  4. never heard of them, but some of them do look very nice.

the "be" looks like a warwick copy, i think.

Sorry to answer this late, but I found this post two minutes ago.
The Mayones lutherie is actually a brand, not a luthier. I play their stingray copy and like it very much. I have also tried the Commodus 6-string and both of the Pariots. The ones pictured, because I was there a day after the pictures were taken. I find them... the way I'll buy one in a few weeks! Very well made, great playability.Hiram Bullock plays one on his solo project (Be4 fretted) and they have made a signature model for David Osrin.
I may be able to post soundclips, if someone's interested.
