Originally purchased brand new from Chicago Music Exchange in Feb. 2019, this Patriot Classic 5-String Bass features a Swamp Ash body and a Flamed Maple top with an aged Matte Black finish.The neck thru construction is wenge/padouk. The tone is punchy and bold. The Aguilar OBP-3 preamp gives the player versatility & tons of tonal options. This bass is essentially brand new and ships in a Mayones/Hiscox hardshell case along with all manufacturers paperwork, including Certificate of Authenticity and a removable rail.

The neck is fast and the action is low. One of the most beautiful and best playing basses I've ever played. I am selling it because I need the cash to fund a custom bass build (so no trades please).

There is a small scratch on one of the battery covers. There is also a small dent/ding on the heel of the bass. Not sure how it even got there or if it was there when I bought it. It's barely noticeable, but I have to bring it up in interest of disclosure.
