I seem to have a problem with melting rosins. I have bought several but they all seem to melt. Are there any that don't?

ALL rosins will melt at some temperature - they are all made using (liquid) tree sap.
What brand(s) are you using? Are you subjecting them to direct sunlight or enclosed areas that overheat?(a car with the windows UP on a sunny, hot day?)
You can mix a "very-melty" brand (Pops, for instance), with a "less-melty" brand (Nyman, or Carlsson, for instance), and create a "less-melty" (overall) hybrid.
Do a search on this topic in this area, and you'll find some possible options and recipes.
