    guys n gals,

Got a small spot of trouble with the mesa bass 400+.

Sometimes, when I play it (specifically through the input 2, the higher gain one) I find the volume drops from my setting substantially and the sound goes a little bit crackly. I've not idea if this problem exists with input 1 as I never use that input, and also the problem happens only sometimes. I find it returns to normal volume again usually if I switch the amp to standby or off, unplug my lead from the input and plug it back in.

I was wondering would this be a tube issue? Or would it/could it be something to do with the input I'm using?

If anyone has experienced this then I'd gladly appreciate some feedback. Apart from this issue the amp runs and sounds like a dream!!!!! I suppose Im just worried that my amp will cut out at shows etc etc and need to resolve the issue asap!!! I'll email boogie as well and see what they say.

    Kind Regards

    Groove :hyper:

    Possibly a funky input jack?
