Mesa and Genz Benz.....

    Middle of the desert, Ca.
    I currently own a Mesa BB750 and a Genz Benz 6.0. The Mesa is rated at 550 watts at 4 ohms and the Genz is rated at 600 watts at 4 ohms. Am I to take from this that I will actually have more headroom with my Genz? Not sure how all this works, and I know alot of it is perception. Not trying to choose one over the other as they are both so different, and I like them both very well. Just wondered if i could could talk myself into a Mesa Titan V-12 or something silly like that!

    You are correct, however, the 50 watt difference is nominal... To increase you volume by 3 decibels, requires doubling your power...
