I have just got an opportunity to get mesa amps for about half of list prive.. I am considering the M-Pulse 360 head and a 4 or 2X10 powerhouse cab..

is this is a good buy? i kno nothing about mesa's bass amps, but i would think they were awesome.. am i right?

  2. mesa stuff is great (in my opinion), I wish I had to money to buy a mesa rig, but they're só expensive.
    I thought they were hand-made

Feh. Boogie's totally suck. Get a Pignose.

Actually, if you have an opportunity to snag new Boogie gear at half price, DO IT. They're great.

    Yes, by all means!

My local GC is selling new Mesa 410s for 499!! I'm freaking out because I can't afford it right now.

    sigh, oh well

I'm having a feeling that Boogie has discontinued some cabs, perhaps to make way for newer versions with Speakon connectors... :ninja:

I was kinda skeptical about Mesa, until I got a Powerhouse 1x15, and now I'm a believer. Also played through a 1x15+4x10 cab (beast!) that sounded great. They're just as good as any cab on the market, IMHO, and stellar rock cabs.

    The only appropriate words are

    "Boogie can boogie" :0.
