  2. The 2-15 should be an 800 watt cab (2x400). The 2-12 may be a guitar cab, but Mesa made some oddball stuff along the way. Ask, Where are the front covers and casters?

    That's a guitar cab.
  4. the 2x12 is a guitar cabinet, the 2x15 normally equipped with EVs was one of my Mesa favorites, it smokes :)

I used to have the same setup
    2x15 and 2x12
Lows through the 2x15 and the highs into the 2x12
If I recall my 2x12 cab was special ordered from Boogie for bass
The 2x12 in this picture appears to be ported both top and bottom and looks deeper than the traditional Boogie guitar cab

As others have stated the 212 is a guitar cab.... And for what it's worth, the 2x15" freakin rocks, more punch that you'd expect from a set of 15"s and more deep CLEAN bass than you can imagine.

The only cab I prefer over the 2x15 is the Powerhouse 1000, very similar tone but the 1000 has more punch for sure and just slightly less of that super deep goodness that is mesa.
  7. My P1000 is deeper than my RR 2-15. The 4-10s go deeper than a 15. The 15 may project out more, but the 10s rule. I am selling my RR 2-15 and keeping my P1000.

How much are you looking to get for your RR 2x15?
