Does anyone know how heavy the Mesa Powerhouse 4x10 and Mesa Roadready 4x10 cabs are? Mesa advertises them as light on their website without giving specs.

I own a 2x10 Power House and I believe it weighs 60 lbs +/- 5 lbs. It sounds great. Hope this helps.

I don't know off hand, but heavy is definately what they are. To the best of my knowledge, when they say light, they mean in comparison to the Diesel Series cabs which weighed even more than the Powerhouse cabs.

I own a Diesel 4x10, and while I still feel that it is the best sounding 4x10 that I have heard, I don't play it much anymore because of its weight - @ 120 lbs. The Road Ready cabs are pretty much the same as the Diesel, just with a different exterior and front cover. But they supposedly sound about the same (never A/B'd them directly, myself). From the little bit that I was able to check out the newer Mesa cabs, though, I think that the older Diesel or RR sounded better.
