    Hi guys!

I'm not asking which of these two amps is better of course ;) I've got a pleasure to plug my bass into M6 Carabine, but I haven't had chance to do the same with Aggie. So I have a question to folks who know both. What are main differences between them? I like Mesa as it is fast and clean, but not sterile. It is also very natural sounding amp (due to tube preamp, I guess). And how is the thing with AG 500?

    Cheers, Kris

    I've found few samples:

I really don't like highs on these demos. They're very sharp and annoying. But of course they may not give justice to the amp.

I own an M6, and I used to an AG500. The AG500 is much more mid-focused, and the M6 is some what mid-scooped (with the Voice control set flat). We ran some charts showing the frequency response of the M6 in issue #1, but we have not tested an AG500 yet. They are fairly different beasts, IME/IMHO.
