Hey, all. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Mesa/Boogie S.O.B ("Son of Boogie") amp head with bass. A friend of mine runs a music shop and has one. I think it was designed primarily for guitar, but online info is kind of sketchy, and I can't find anything on TB. I've found some mention on Harmony Central regarding use of the head with bass, but...

Anyway, I've been looking for a lower wattage tube head for a recording project coming up, and thought I'd give this a try. Since I can't get down to my friend's shop until tomorrow I thought I'd ask around here first.

As always, any info you might have is greatly appreciated. Take care.

as long as the eq is pleasing to your ears, why not! No harm in it amp wise (so long as the speakers are ok with bass... and boogie speakers mostly are).
