Excellent condition Mesa Boogie Walkabout Scout 112. These things are pretty much legendary for crazy good tone. It’s a super flexible piece of gear - it’s a convenient practice combo amp, a warm sounding tone machine perfect for recording projects, and the head can be easily removed from the cabinet assembly and used to drive big time cabinets. Just used it this weekend to drive an Ampeg SVT 810 for an outdoor gig, and it’s 300 Watts managed to drive that baby enough that I never went past 10 o’clock or so on the volume dial. I bought it a few years back from a fellow TB’er, and it has been very well cared for and is in pretty much mint condition (I say pretty much only because I’m uncertain if the preamp tube has ever been replaced, though sure doesn’t seem to need it - it’s otherwise like new). I’m looking to fund new gear is the only reason I’m considering this sale. Comes with manual, original slip cover, etc. $950, local pickup only... though we can talk about shipping if you’re interested. UPDATE, 9/26: I just got my new gear from Sweetwater, and have very good shipping materials (heck, I’d even be sending it in a Mesa box!). Very willing to explore shipping if needed!
Hi Nick, I ordered a bar mat from Amazon.. nice cheap $12.00 thick rubber mat to absorb some of the vibration. Plus it works great for my beers
I shouldn't, but I am thinking about how nice this would be behind me. Could you provide the weight? Thanks,
You know, it DOES sound really nice, just was using it last night in rehearsal. Per Mesa, it’s 51 lbs. You can see specs here: Walkabout Scout Bass 1x12 Combo | MESA/Boogie®
